The Taunton Flower Show in Vivary Park was a great success with lots of visitors to our stand and to the show in general. The Taunton Flower Show is the oldest, longest running show in Europe and second oldest in the world. There was a good range of plants stalls selling plants as well as craft stalls and the exhibits in the main competition marquees.  Other attractions included honey bee demonstrations, live music, dog shows and even lamb racing.

We had a lot of interest in our stand that showed off a selection of the trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials and hedging plants that we have for sale back at the garden centre. We coloured-themed the stand with plants on one the left with cool, pastel colours changing from plants on the right with hot yellows, reds and oranges.

We were delighted to win the Beggars Roost Cup for Best Outdoor Horticultural Stand.  The staff worked hard to prepare the plants over the spring and summer for the show and it was fantastic to receive the award from the Taunton Flower Show judges. Visitors to the show also seemed to enjoy the range of plants and colours on show and we have hopefully picked up some new customers![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
