Lost Racing Pigeon takes a fancy to Greenshutters Garden Centre

Funky the pigeon has taken a fancy to Greenshutters Garden Centre. The lost racing pigeon has become a favourite with staff who have traced it to the Irish Racing Union but the registered number claims to know nothing about poor Funky. We’ve done everything we can to find his owner, we’ve fed and watered Funky as recommended by rescue sites as homing pigeons often need to stop for a rest and a feed. Normally they move on after a couple of days. Funky, named by my son has been with us for three weeks now! Pigeon rescue sites say that pigeons are emotional birds that mate for life and so the hapless Funky is probably lost and lonely. Perhaps a local pigeon fancier would like to rescue poor Funky?
